Franchising and Licensing Association (Singapore) was established in 1993 with the mission to nurture and develop Singapore’s franchising industry and a vision to be the thought leader of the industry in Singapore.

A founding member of the World Franchise Council (WFC) and a member of the Asia Pacific Franchise Confederation (APFC), FLA (Singapore) is an essential component of Singapore’s knowledge-based economy and aims to contribute to the efforts to make Singapore a regional franchise and license hub.

FLA (Singapore) is led and managed by a dedicated team of advisors, committee members and secretariat with only one objective in mind – turning Singapore-based companies’ franchising and licensing dreams and ambitions into reality. The Association promotes and facilitates the use of franchising, licensing and branding as a growth strategy for Singapore enterprises and is organised to help its members through various initiatives including its partnership with the Singapore government agencies and international franchise and license bodies. These initiatives include assisting its members in their international development programmes and developing. the core competencies of franchisors and master franchisees in Singapore through education and training programmes.

FLA (Singapore)’s growing membership currently stands in excess of 100-company strong representing more than 150 exciting brands.
